Seahawk Summer Ball Update: June 29
A number of UNCW baseball players are starring for their summer squads
Collegiate summer leagues are in full swing across the nation, and UNCW has quite a few players taking part, from Maine down to Wilmington.
Since the original rosters were released, Brooks Baldwin headed north to join the Cotuit Kettleers, in a move that could foreshadow a big boost for the Seahawks’ 2022 roster.
Closer to home, Asheboro is getting a boost from Cody Benton and Trevor Marsh, while Taber Mongero fills up the box score in Wilmington and Jacob Shafer is giving us an excellent preview of his role as a likely weekend starter in 2022.
